I was asked to photograph an event for international women’s day at FreedomWorks in Chichester. The event celebrated local female entrepreneurs and female buyers in the local area.
“On June 03rd 2019, a group of friends who will be riding bicycles worth £25 or less from The Pink Pub in Bognor Regis to Pegasus Bridge, arriving in Normandy, France in time for the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
They are doing all of this to raise money for us, All Call Signs: A Peer Support Network for veterans and service personnel battling service related mental illnesses.”
I’m coming up to the end of my second year at university, and my class hosted an exhibition featuring work from our final project for the public to see. I exhibited a range of portraits exploring female empowerment and the balance between photographer and subject.
