Looking back at 2020

2020 was an interesting year for everyone, many people want to forget about it, while others want to look back at the year.

I finished university and started to focus more on the business alongside other employment. Not being able to photograph people for a while was strange, so I began to look at different ways of remote working. I began to photograph more products in different locations as I would with people. I also started to make prints and other photo gifts which I sold at craft fairs and online. I did manage to do a few portrait shoots when restrictions were eased, which I’m grateful for.

I’ve really enjoyed shooting more products and using different lighting techniques to capture them in different ways, I have been doing weekly shoots featuring various food and drink as well as other subjects to continue to challenge myself.
