I was asked by Marco’s Kitchen to take some photos of the food and drinks on their menu. The photographs were taken for their website and social media to show off some of their best dishes.

Photography for Sonar Magazine at Cabana, Southampton

I was asked by Sonar Magazine to take some photos at Cabana in Southampton for a recent article. I took photos of the restaurant layout as well as the products and all of the bright colours. I was lucky to be able to try some of the food that I photographed which was delicious!

Here is some vibrant pot pourri for your feed 🤩 I do love light and airy photos, but I loved the bright pinks and purples in the bowl and had to photograph it!
I was gifted this beautiful turtle necklace 😍 turtles are one of my favourite animals, and I've been lucky enough to be in close contact with a couple! I've been wanting to do more jewellery photography, but outside rather than in the studio. I think locations can add a bit more colour and depth, as well as add to the story and mood.
We've been doing styled product shoots a lot more while working from home, using basic ingredients you can find in most kitchens. Pinterest has also been very inspiring for trying new styling techniques.

Loving the first hints of Spring coming! These yellow flowers were beautiful to photograph, and really stood out amongst the greens.
This year, I set myself the challenge to do more product photography while working from home. Often, simplicity can create much more powerful imagery. It's important with product photography to start with the subject, and slowly add to it rather than throw everything in.
